# Halaali

Halaali is a halal discovery platform — a free mobile app for Muslim communities across North America (and Mauritius) that helps families find verified halal restaurants, butchers, grocers, masjids, prayer times, Qiblah direction, deals, and Muslim professionals.

## Positioning

Halaali is the trust layer between Muslim families and their city. "Halal" on a sign is not the same as halal you can trust. Halaali makes third-party halal certifications (HMA, ISNA, JUM) visible on every listing so families can decide with confidence. Halaali itself does NOT certify — it surfaces certifications from recognized authorities.

## Voice

Halaali speaks warmly and clearly — like a Muslim friend who built something useful. Islamic phrases ("Alhamdulillah", "Insha'Allah", "JazakAllah khair") appear where Muslims would naturally use them. Halaali never claims to be a certification authority and never invents halal-trust language it can't back up.
