Delete Your Halaali Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Halaali account and what happens to your data after the request is made.
Preferred Method: Delete Inside the App
- Open the Halaali app and sign in to the account you want to remove.
- Go to Profile, then open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm the deletion request.
Can't Access the App?
You can still request deletion by contacting us directly.
- Email halaaliapp@gmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
- Include the email address tied to your Halaali account so we can identify it safely.
- If you no longer have access to that inbox, tell us that in the message and we will reply with verification steps.

What We Delete
- your Halaali account profile
- saved places, favorites, and personal notes
- linked authentication account in our backend
- push notification token and app session access
What May Be Retained
- limited backup copies for up to 90 days
- records we must keep for legal, fraud, security, or financial compliance reasons
- aggregated or de-identified analytics that no longer identify you personally
Processing Timeline
We aim to process valid deletion requests promptly. Operational backups may persist for up to 90 days before they are fully cycled out.
