By using our service, you agree to use it only for lawful and Halal purposes. This means refraining from:

Service Availability

We strive to maintain consistent service availability, though occasional maintenance or technical issues may occur. We will notify you of planned maintenance whenever possible and work quickly to resolve any unexpected issues.

Halal Information

See who certified it

Listings show information from businesses, certification bodies and the community. Halaali does not certify any food or business as halal. A certificate shown on a listing belongs to the body that issued it and can expire or change, so please confirm with the business or the certifier before relying on it.

Habibi Answers

Helpful, not a ruling

Habibi uses AI to answer questions from Halaali's listings and other sources. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not religious rulings (fatwa) or professional advice. For a religious ruling, please ask a qualified scholar.

Subscriptions

Habibi Pro

Habibi Pro is a paid subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payments, refunds and billing are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, and on iOS Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies. Everything outside Habibi Pro stays free.

Dispute Resolution

Peaceful Resolution

In the spirit of reconciliation (Sulh), if a dispute arises between us, we will first seek a fair resolution through direct conversation and mediation before any formal legal action. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes to Terms

Transparent Updates

These terms were last updated on October 11, 2026. If we change them in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Halaali after that means you accept the updated terms.
